“60L Kitchen Tank”

Andy Hart’s wonderful 60cm kitchen aquarium was chosen as the latest UKAPS Featured ‘Scape for several reasons. Firstly it looks great. The combination of well selected and positioned hardscape materials, superb plant choice and composition lends to an overall very impressive aquascape.

Perhaps what is even more impressive is that this is Andy’s first attempt at a planted tank. This should be very encouraging for newcomers and experienced fishkeepers alike.

With investment in the appropriate amount of research i.e. reading through the UKAPS Articles and Tutorials there is no reason why absolute beginners cannot achieve similar results.

You can follow Andy’s journal from the aquarium’s conception right through to the stage you see here and beyond.

Any questions or comments can be left on Andy’s journal. If you have not registered then do so for FREE and become a UKAPS Member.
