I have bought the dual stage co2 regulator and solenoid with smc needle valve from you and intend to use it on a fire extinguisher. I would just like confirmation that your regulator is safe to use on a fe and some advice on how to attach the reg.

Thanks

Thanks but I've seen that thread. I just want definite assurance from the people that make these that it can cope with the pressure from a fe as I understand in standard co2 cylinders their is a tap that reduces pressure before the regulator.
Also this may seem really stupid but which way do I turn the knob on the reg to close it?

The people that supplied the fe also demonstrated the power of fe by firing one with and without a horn. Clearly if for any reason the fe was fired by accident without a horn it can do SERIOUS damage potentially becoming a missile capable of punching through walls. This is all new to me so I am very cautious about safety.

Hello,

I can confirm that is safe to use our regulator on FE and most CO2 cylinders (including large pub CO2 cylinders).

All our regulators are build to work with compressed CO2.

Please find below link to video tutorial of how to install dual stage regulator :

After installation, please complete below leak test to be 100% sure all is installed correctly :
