Very nice tank. Make sure to keep the monte carlo trimmed as it will grow very quickly. Mine lifted off in one large chunk when I stopped trimming it.

Wow - i planted about 10 pots of HC and 2 of MC - the Monte must have taken over. The tank is one year old and I have had every type of algae in it - only now is it algae free - touch wood!

Looking very nice indeed. I think your yellow wall is casting a yellow tinge in your photos, which is not are desirable. try putting a white sheet in the back before pictures to try and counteract that.

Filter: JBL e901 with koralia 900 powerhead
Soil: aquasoil amazonia
Co2: bazooka at 2bps
Plants: HC cuba or Monte Carlo, rotala sp. green, anubius nana petite, java fern trident, brazilian pennywort,
Fertiliser: from Aquasabi - macro, micro with 12 ml of special N nitrogen added daily -( the Special N has really helped the HC cuba-monte carlo)
Lights: hagen glow 48w but only 24w used - also raised high up from tank
