Smaller tanks appear clear when optiwhite. But larger pieces of optiwhite are a light blue. Gets darker the further the glass goes in the direction your looking.

I got some biofilm recently when weather was at its hottest. Presumably this was down to increased gassing off of co2

I have. But I just solve it by throwing a brick through the tank. Gets rid of it just fine.

Hey, I've had a similar problem. I just unscrewed black plastic and slightly stretched the spring inside. Not ideal but made it work. If its leaking there, then it's struggling with the pressure, what are you running it at? I'd reccomend another regulator to be honest.

Dropping a bristle nose in does appear to solve a problem, but not at its root. Your goal should be understanding what your plants require in simple terms. No need to be a brain box like Clive.

Thanks chaps, although up close it looks a right mess. Stauro is all pitted ( except new growth) stems are all weedy and only just starting to perk back up. HC just imploded. They really hate life without juice.

Yeah, ditch the Jbl. I've got one of these to replace. At 2.5bar jbl seems to back up and leak from the needle valve. Just not intended for the pressures. This one was £90 from co2art with solenoid, is far superior to jbl build quality, has HAND TIGHTENING (so easy!) and will run upto 6bar.

Is it a bazooka type? If so mines running on 3-3.5 bar on an intense Reg. Excellent bits of kit.

Massive shame Al in one respect, this would be even better in months to come. But as always with you, onwards and upwards. I've got the use of a van now, so if your wanting a hand with the move, all you have to do is shout. I'll only charge you a ten minute glance. (Into the tank) ;)

This ones still going, just not very well after being without co2 for 10+ days a while back. Once I get it up and running again, I'll post some more.

They are exceptional at diffusing co2. Mine mists like smoke too. Better than peoples hi tech 'twinstar' gadgets.

Hey mate, I've also found, and it's said on here a lot, but that if your co2 isn't lime green before lights switch on, that growth is really impaired. Make sure your flows excellent too. I'm sure you'll know this, but the co2 availability at lights on is THE most important thing of all. Also...

Hey Dean, Sorry to hear its back down. Are you very strict on your waterchanges? You'll need to get rid of all the waste the plants give off. Also, maybe try a bazooka diffuser from co2 art. I prefer seeing what gas is or isn't going in.

I used a spanking drill bit too :D Yeah seemed to do the trick. I was hoping any burr created, would melt back into the plastic.

Are you certain you had it centred then? Off centre even a millimetre would cause jets at funny angles.

Its the angle of the drill when you drilled it. Make sure the drill is vertical and the holes are on top that your drilling. I also heated the drill bit before each hole, which means it melts the plastic and doesnt slip on the outside of the spraybar, aswell as preventing a burr on the inside.

I think shapes too arched on back for a cherry?
