Blue tube for planted tank?

Hello

I've bought the overhead T5 lighting unit for my planted tank from this auction http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280766047570? ... 1439.l2648 and one of the tubes is in blue colour. I am wondering if this tube is doing the same job as the other 6500K tubes for plants or shall I better replace this tube with 6500K?

Hi,
The short answer is: Yes, the blue bulb does exactly the same job as the so-called 6500K bulb. Only replace the blue bulb if you don't like the way it looks, or if it breaks.
