marine bulbs

I was just wondering if my white marine t5 tubes will be ok for plants for a few weeks?

Hello,
Use any bulbs you want for any length of time that you want. Plants do not care what type of bulbs you use or what color they are. Use whatever bulbs look good to you or whatever is convenient for you. It makes little difference.

Its just that when i was keeping corals the bulbx had to be changed every 6 months and be white

Yep, reefers are all about PAR and color sensitivity, and their corals can't get enough of it. But these are plants who could care less about color and are annihilated if the PAR is too high.
