Nano Shrimplet Tank Lighting - Hydroponic LED Bulb?

Hi Guys,

I have a simple LED strip hanging over a tank however i would like to position a simple hobby desk lamp over the top and upgrade the bulb to an LED one.

I have seen on ebay and on the internet the "blue grow light bulbs".

I assume that these lights are used to growing weed in closets, however i was wondering if this would allow my java to grow more aggresively, being a shrimplet tank, this would be excellent.

Also I love blue lights.

However I am cautious, as with all photosynthesis, if the Liquid carbon im using isnt sufficient, the algae could take over?

Anyone have any experience?

Hi all,
I've got a £20 225 14W red and blue LED hydroponic grow tile and it must produce a reasonable amount of PAR, so I don't see any reason why a 100% blue one won't work.
