Morning all,

I have a right noob question.

When it comes to time to refill my co2 and removing the cylinder from the regulator. Is it enough to turn off the solenoid and remove the cylinder or do I need to shut the valve on the regulator?

Thank you
Kam

1. Ensure solenoid is off.
2. Ensure handle of extinguisher is off.
3. Undo regulator. Maybe slight hiss of gas depending how empty your cylinder is.

Done.

make sure you release the fe handle ! to ensure fe is gas tight and undo fe i dont do any thing else except i have an isolation valve just after my bubble counter to ensure no back feed of aquarium water witch i turn off and on again when new fe is fitted dont know if this is best practice but works for me :) sorry ian i must of been typing as you were :)

Definitely close the valve or release the handle if it's an FE.
