Its really easy to remove scratches from acrylic especially when the tank is empty. if I had somewhere to put it I would make a very cheeky bid

Now you mention it the cost would be pretty prohibitive...but on the other hand never let reality stand in the way of success...

use a sump and do low tech. It would probably not cost that much to run but you would need some serious cash to plant that up. you could have a ukaps bring a bottle and plant party to lower the cost though
