Possible broke reg!

Got home this evening to find my co2 off, I thought at first I may be out of gas but I took the reg off and gave the FE a little blast. I've tried reffitting to the FE and switching it back on. The gauge showing pressure goes up to 65bar but the other which I set the working pressure with doesn't rise.
It could possibly be due to running it too high http://ukaps.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=18185 are there any other ways of testing the reg? If it is broke anybody got any suggestions for buying another one that will handle 2 bar atomic diffuser? Moneys a bit tight this time of year so cheaper the better.

Its hard to work out if I would also require a needle valve to go with these or are they adjustable? Anybody any experience of these? Considering the delivery time on these I need to order something soon! i'm using DIY and EC for now to avert a disaster.

Sorry for keep bumping this up but I'm sure there's an answer somewhere and need to order something :)

I'm looking at these these regs...

all seem to do the job, all say the thread is JIS m22-14 but I keep hearing of DIN 477 when I search the board. Are all of these compatible with a FE set up?

I have emailed the seller who tells me that they are adjustable on output but are pre-set at 2-2.5bar, I've no reason to doubt they are compatible but I see many things in the board where stuff just hasn't fit the bill and the seller is in Hong Kong! Last thing I need is to wait 2-3 weeks and end up with a problem!

Please Help :)

Also has a mess with the faulty gauge to day just to see what happens. I stripped off everything that I could for now reason other than to see what's in there. When I put it back together opened both the needle valve and the pressure reg to full I could blow and air would come out of the tubing. I put it back on the FE and pulled the trigger it stopped.

I stripped it out and re-built again but this time when I put it on the FE I left the reg and needle valve fully open and only give the trigger a light squeeze and co2 came out. When I pulled the trigger fully it stopped working again and after I took it off the FE I couldn't even blow air through it ! It would appear that when the reg gets full pressure from the FE something inside it locks the whole thing up.
