My new layout has some redmoor that breaks the surface. I'm after some suggestions on what can be used plant or moss wise to grow on these sections?

Hi all,

Whatever you like the look of really.

You can have a small leaves carpet plant like Hemianthus "Cuba", because it has access to aerial CO2 it will grow really well. Utricularia graminifolia is another possibility.

If you have a moss, glue it just below the water line, and it will creep up and out of its own accord.

Have a look at "Mr. Teapot's" excellent <"Green Pekoe Pond"> for some inspiration. That is where the Hemianthus image originates from.

I'm going to be planting Montecarlo in the tank, if this would work then I can use a few bits here too.
