Hi,
Just joined the forum after searching for tank info online. I’ve just bought my first tank in 10 years. It’s interesting to see how the online information has improved since then! My last tank was a 65 litre hexagon tank, so I was really limited in what I could have in it, so I’ve upgraded a bit this time.
I’ve got a 80x48x50cm tank holding nearly 200 litres. Been cycling it for a couple of weeks now and I’ve got my first delivery of plants arriving today from Aquarium gardens. Last time I planted a tank, it was with whatever the LFS had in stock, so I’m really impressed with the choice available now. Maybe even a bit overwhelmed!
I’m using Seachem fluorite black sand for substrate with a hefty piece of bog wood for structure.
Filtration is courtesy of an Eheim 2217 and an Eheim classic 600 for backup if needed?
Anyway, I’m sure I’ll be bugging you for info before long!
Cheers,
Martin
