Just thought I’d share some pics this morning with no lights but backlight from the sun.

All plants going crazy now with Eleocharis Mini runners visible in substrate. Anamos and cherries doing their thing on the algae.

I’ve been following the Tropica schedule and this is proving a winner by 30% water changes, very little if hardly any ferts - reducing algea.

I’ve also updated the CO2 setup to the Tropica Nano system with a Solenoid.

Here’s some latest pics

Hi.
I have just clicked the link for this and its great.
Will soon be setting up my first ish planted nano tank.
Have you taken this one down now? have you fired up a new one?
Keep up the good skills!

Hi thanks, so here it is after 8 months, I’ve just let nature take over and watch it evolve. I would love to create another but we don’t have the room.

Hygrophila pinnatifida grows like mad so always cutting lots away to make space. If you need any advice for your setup just let me know.

Looks great. I ah e a question about the H. Pinnatifida. When first planted, does it loose its leaves and then grow fresh submerse ones? I planted my first one about 2 weeks ago, and despite CO2 and strong light it’s losing leaves.

Hi, yes it does, patience is needed as it’s a slow starter but worth the wait. Keep doing big water changes and use the Tropica App, it’s brilliant. It worked for me.
