hi, im after a low growing plant that will naturalise amongst the bases of my taller plants and towards the front were its more open and probaly lighter. i considered riccia but think my light may not be enough which is a shame, crpyts have never done well in my tank. i dont want pygmy chain...

at the time i started with 2 males and 2 females in an 18 inch tank, i now just have 2 females in my 200litre tank and am slowly growing on the remaining 20+ fry on to take to my local shop,

i currently have a hagen heater which hasnt fallen off the glass yet, it has a little computer chip in the heater which is ment to prevent it locking on. i have also used a sera heater which has good suction and looks smart and well built

they breed like mad and will soon become overrun with then if your not carefully, there worse than guppies i think. i have some and am currently try to get rid off them. buetiful fish though, shoaling wise they wind kind off.

i used a blue led thing for abit, and found it didnt cause any problems, no algae growth, and the fish seemed happy and calm.

what i do is hold the vallis so it is vertical and then just trim abit above the water, this way you dont genrally see the cut ends

agreed REEF LIFE is well worth a visit for anyone in the south west, or on holiday.
