    Connecting TC420 to Twinstar RGB

Yes, I connected through USB and used PLED. Did get the regular "usb connected" sound from Windows. Then I tried to upload the new time scheme or synchronize timing but all failed.

    Connecting TC420 to Twinstar RGB

I was able to connect the TC420 and get it to work but it seems my TC420 USB function is DOA ... :( Will have to try again later.

    Connecting TC420 to Twinstar RGB

Hi all I recently purchased a Twinstar RGB lighting kit, looks awesome and functions perfectly. I have found out that it is in fact dimmable with a simple in-line dimmer. However, I would like to create a sunrise / sunset effect using a TC420. Can anyone tell me how to do it? The Twinstar uses...

Looking for pictures to create a roll-up banner

Hi all I'll be present at Vivarium, a large aquarium/terrarium/vivarium fair in the Netherlands (my first participation ever, yeay!). To promote my stand, I'd like to create a nice roll-up banner. I'm looking for some quality pictures that I could use as a background for this banner...

    My tanks

Beautiful aquariums. Question: your CO2 is quite high on your Dutch tank. How do you improve oxygenation for your fish?

Beginning of algaes after doubling light

Hi all Interesting discussion :) @ardjuna : do you have a link to that research paper regarding pH and algae? Just out of interest. And how did you determine that your friend has 15ppm of CO2 in his tank?

Anyone looking for a Nano LED?

These are excellent indeed. The fact you can easily dim the LEDs is a huge advantage when battling algae. Also, the Superfish nano tanks are great. The standard filter pump is pretty powerful (I think it's like 200l/h for a 10 liter aquarium!), easily adjustable and water is filtered from the...

    Looking for product photographers

Hi all I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to post this here. If not, be free to move this topic :) I'm looking for product photographers for one of my future projects. You don't have to be a professional photographer, good skills and equipment to create great, well-detailed pictures is enough...

Looking for pictures of CO2 deficiencies

Hi guys I'll soon start writing an article about CO2 deficiencies and I'm looking for high quality pictures that show the different kinds of symptoms of a CO2 deficiency (thread algae, bba, leaf loss, holes in leaves, melting, ...). This way, my readers can identify the symptoms and react...

Looking for high quality pictures of EI tanks

Hi all I'm not sure if this is the right subforum to ask this. If not, my apologies. I'm writing an article on the Estimative Index for a dutch magazine. The magazine focuses a lot on high quality pictures which I do not have unfortunately. Does anyone have high quality pictures of beautiful...

    Lubricate filter o-ring: WD40?

I need to lubricate some moving parts that are hard to reach so a spray would be easier. I'll have a a look at the local DIY shop for a silicon spray. Thanks all!

    Lubricate filter o-ring: WD40?

Hello Can you use WD40 to lubricate the filter parts? Or is it toxic to fish/bad for the filter parts? I've used vaseline before but it tends to harden on some parts. Cheers Gilles
