    Phostrogen DIY

    23.66 gram of this product mixed into 500 ml solution, dosed at 20 ml per 50 gallon (189.27 liter) Fe 0.1 (0.06 ppm DTPA Fe, 0.04 ppm EDDHA Fe) Mg 0.345 Mn 0.015 (bit low for Mn when compared to Fe:Mn ratio) I use mathematic formulas to get these numbers, I may have posted the...

    Solufeed 2:1:4 and Solufeed Sodium Free TEC or Solufeed Coir TEC Combination

    by now I believe many hobbyist are using this, can anyone share more picture updates on this? has anyone tried this with the following: 100% RO water Mineralized to Calcium 10 ppm and Magnesium 4 ppm then weekly dose: N 3 (1.4 Urea-N, 1.62 NO3-N) this will add 7.18 ppm NO3, Rest of the N...

    its good to experiment because non chelated Micros are more prone to oxidization and Precipitation. but, if it still doesn't resolve the issues then we need to look somewhere else, but Fe and Mn are usually at fault under such scenario. Magnesium can also be a problem but in your case, there is...

    that wasn't based on weekly dose but if I were to dose that, I would have dosed 20ml per 50 gallon 3x a week (high tech setup) which is 60 ml total. but i see some problems with this: Boron is not included, I assume they are relying on natural water which usually contain some Micros including...

    @MaterialCrab in case if you were still interested in using that fertilizer, the numbers looks something like this: 29.58 gram phostrogen plant food mixed into 500 ml solution, dosed at 20 ml per 50 gallon (189.27 liter) N 1 (0.125 ppm NH4-N and 0.875 ppm Urea-N) P...

    I recommend keeping the old soil, it will act as an nutrient absorbers and you will highly benefit from it especially while using Urea/NH4 as liquid fertilizer. do you test for NO3 levels in the aquarium? also, how much of filter media are you using in your filters?

    can you clarify this? I was bit confused on this part "but my soil is old" and "actually I have new soil"

    yes if you do 90-100 % change then you add 10 ppm Ca and 4 ppm Mg, afterward every time you do any 50% water change, you add 5 ppm Ca and 2 ppm Mg.

    try increasing the Mn a little bit, you can even use it at 1:1 Fe:Mn ratio so that mean 0.1 ppm Mn and 0.1 ppm Fe and observe the plants. what kind of soil do you use? do you have have any root tabs added to it?

    Magnesium is already covered at the water changes. by observing your plants from this picture #150 it appear as you may be dealing with Iron issues, if you rule out the Iron then it could be related to Mn. we won't know unless you play around with this.

    am not sure if you are able to find Individual Chelated Micros in Türkiye ? if you have the budget, you can look into this as well, just be aware your room now going to look like chemical lab :) you may also be able to help your local hobbyists as well

    @hasan66 you can also play with something like this: 500 ml, 5 ml per 75 liters: 7.16 gram Nh4Cl N 0.25 Cl 0.63 13.574 grams KNO3 NO3 1.11 N 0.25 K 0.7 4.3 grams KH2PO4 PO4 0.4 P 0.13 K 0.16 8.04 grams Urea N 0.5 you can target 10 ppm Ca using CaSO4 and 4 ppm...

    But most plant here don't look that bad at all. There appear to be some minor algae on some of the older growth. You may only need few minor tweaks at this point. What lights are you using?

    @hasan66 do you have NH4cl ?

    Copper is required for many enzyme activities in plants and for chlorophyll, so little extra copper maybe helpful. Almost all my recipes usually have little extra copper. The max weekly dose of between 0.006 to 0.014 is plentiful. aromatica did quite well for me even under much lower micros...
