    IAPLC 2019 Results

Thanks, Alto Yer tbh I think 881 is a fair rank. I wasn't 100% happy with it but I got offered a job and had to leave within the week which mean I didn't get my final 2 months growth it seriously needed, but hey that's part of the experience.

Feedback Sods law - but still a great experience!

I'm not one to normally leave a review, however this time I feel my experience may benefit others. who are worried about what customer service you may receive. As someone who orders online most of the time as there are no decent plant shops in Cumbria or a sensible driving distance from me, I...

The rocky uphill road to my first IAPLC entry....will I make it in time?

Well yes it does, but it's not the same as the other liquid carbon. Might pick up some Colombo liquid carbon later today. I think I may have altered the bio load too soon in the tanks life. And didn't adjust my lights accordingly so the new in vitro plants didn't get off the the best start...

The rocky uphill road to my first IAPLC entry....will I make it in time?

Hi all, So I have been dormant from making journals as I have been creating a scape for entering the 2017 IAPLC. I have never entered a scaping competition before so I decided to give it a shot. Anyways my thought is what's the worst that could happen? (I come dead last now that I think about...

    Bacteria and plant symbiosis

@Wizard_g our shop has run out of it so I've not been able to use it and the plant growth has slowed. Think I'm gonna ditch the other liquid co2 for this one for sure.

    Bacteria and plant symbiosis

Hey All So been using the bacteria culture plus a new type of liquid CO2 From my observations the bacteria concoction has been destroying the biofilm on top of the tank. i've only been doing done 30% weekly water changes( tank in 3rd week of set up) i have very very limited amount of algae...

    Bacteria and plant symbiosis

From my understanding bacterial populations are in a constant flux. A lot of people think that after the tank has been up and running they have a fully mature filter the filter still in flux. So best practice is to add bacterial products when you decided to feed more or when you clean out the...

    Bacteria and plant symbiosis

Thanks everyone for your input. theres so much information for me here to research and digest. and even more questions to find answers to (i love this aspect of science). The company actually started in environmental clean up of lakes, reservoirs, rivers & canals. They also mentioned developing...
