So at night when your plants are using oxygen and not producing it?
It's not right keeping this many fish in a 15ltr, don't expect to get any other response off the users in here. We all try and take great care of our fish and shrimp and overcrowding is something a lot of us try and avoid!
Do you know what kelvin they are? In my experience LEDs have always trumped t5's they don't look as bright to the human eye but the par and directed light output means plant growth should be a lot higher than with t5's
In this respect you can't really trust your eyes, brighter to you isn't...
Aquatic plants absorb nutrients through their leaves mainly if the substrate is inert (which yours is) make sure your dosing and co2 are spot on and be patient!

Although if you use the beams then you can use 8 seperate beams not just 4 tiles :)
No all the channels are dimmable mate! Just the first 6 go on one timer with one sunrise and sunset. And the other two channels run in another timer.
For instance I have 4 lights coming on at 10am that turn up from 0% to 100% over a 2 hour period turning off at 8pm over two hours (channel 1)...
