Diorama - "Dutch style" (Mg>K experiment) Lean dosing

So I made some mistakes in the description, sorry for the confusion. This tank with this experiment lasts a year...:) The effects can be seen in the photos I will definitely try your recipe. I think there will be no problems. In general, it is as @_Maq_ presented, K in the plant is still more...

Diorama - "Dutch style" (Mg>K experiment) Lean dosing

Hello everyone In my next tank, I wanted to fertilize over a longer period of time in such a way that K did not exceed Mg, and even with minimal K. @plantnoobdude and @Happi also use such a fertilization regime, so this will be another example. The tank is one year old and planted with many...

Bacopa Salzmannii Purple - Issue on old leaves

Deficiency or blockage of Mn...or Zn, typical of red leaves .... Also, the lower leaves losing pigment is indeed a -Zn. This can be the result of low Zn or excess of other metals inducing deficiency. Other symptoms of -Zn are leaf margin undulations, as you can see in many of your plants...

    Dissolved Organic Phosphorus

Hi Could you expand on that ...? Hmmm Soil Mineralogy. The mineral composition of the soil influences the phosphorus adsorption capacity. For example, soils with a high content of Al3+ and Fe3+also tend to have the greatest phosphorus adsorption capacity. Soil pH. Optimum soil pH between 6...

    Substrate maintenance!

Hi @MAQ I would like to hear from you on the K-Ca-Mg relationship Well, for years I have been visiting various forums around the world and these opinions are different I also meet those where the main problem is Mg and it is best when we keep it low (or even very low) in relation to K (example...

10 year 60cm tank... did some maintenance

Yes it's a good product, but remember sulphate-based, so I recommend taking it daily as Mn precipitates very quickly. In general, I recommend chelated Mn and in relation to Fe 1-2, or even 1.5-2:):)

Tropica Specialised causing Nitrite spikes - false positive or genuine concern??

You have no problem with nitrogen, you specifically have a problem "with the availability of manganese". Senegalensis R.Macrandra type 4 ? Bacopa Purple
