Well, things were going smoothly... now the algea is taking over again
All over the glass and rocks/wood and on the slow-growers
The stems at the back are doing well.. apart from the ones on the left. Need to get my trim the ones on the right.
Well, due to popular demand! (lol) Here is an update :)
Drained all the water and took all the sand out, wich was a very very annoying job! (specialy when your hungover on a sunday)
Put in the eco-complete and hardscape. Wish i got more eco.
Kind of rushed this so i could get it over and...
Waiting for my Eco-Complete to come in the post still.
But i got some new stems.I will change it slightly, but keep the same idea when i get the new substrate.
The right hand side im deffinatly gonna change. Also there is stems behind the wood wich need to grow out.
My combi is brand new. Had the old style copper one took out and replaced. My tank is upstairs, so i will have to bring the kettle up when i do a w/c
I recently heard that using hot tap water when doin water changes (not hot on its own, ofc) is deadly to shrimp?
Because of the heavy metals and the type of pipes used for hot water?
Anybody had experience with this?
