strange plant....again. ID needed.

well, this nano keeps throwing up surprises, that's for sure!

this evening, i've spotted yet another mystery plant. It's tiny, but will grow no doubt. it appears to have flowers on it o_O I'm at a loss.

if anyone knows what it is, please tell me.

i initially thought it was eggs of some kind, but you can see where it's growing from the substrate.

I think you may have answered it samc. :thumbup:

so it could well be flowering hydracotle? it is right next to it.

good guess mate. 8) it's a shame it didn't grow at the front of the glass, that would of been great to photo.
 
Its strange that its flowering under the water. Ive seen many aquatic plants flowers, but all have been emerged apart from the likes of Anubias.
Hydroctyl flowers are very unassuming, tiny bladder like fronds with the smallest amount of yellow you ever did see.It certainly looks like that to me.
