the first pic is Elocharis acicularis if you are talking about the real fine like grass at the back centre of the shot.

first pic is tenellus. great plant for surrounding stones and wood.

The second pic, if I'm not mistaken is...rotala rotundifolia. :D

Two types of hairgrass. Very different on length.

http://www.tropica.com/productcard_1.asp?id=133 10-15cm
http://www.tropica.com/productcard_1.asp?id=132C. 3-10cm

both need to be cut really short when first planted as any old leaves tend to rot and collect muck. The new submerged growth is what you want. You can then keep it trimmed to a suitable length.

Cyprrus Helferi - grasslike plant up to 35cm so taller than the hairgrass

there are also various forms of vallis but the straight forms get very tall 20-120cm and if you try to shorten the leaves they rot.

Valisneria torta is shorter than the others at 10-25cm but it's leaves are twisted like a corkscrew.

The blyxa rushes are also grasslike. Varying in height between 6 and 20cm but they tend to form more of a clump than the others so I don't know how suitable they would be as background plants in your aquascape. Also, the can turn reddish in high light.
