Are CONGO TETRAS plant eaters/nibblers

Can anbody who is presently keeping these beautiful fish at present, clarify whether or not they would sample the local fauna in my tank. Whilst some plants i have are considered safe with most fish, i do have some delicate ones.

When I kept them they did nibble the odd plant but nothing too bad if properly fed.

Never had any problems with plants but voracious predators of any insects falling into tank. Amazing to see them swallow whole daddy long legs! Not sure I'd trust em with shrimp.

Interesting. You suspect correctly, any small cherries that break cover, and head for the surface, dont make it back.

I have had to move some stock around to resolve it.
