lol, that seems very far fetched...i wonder how much antidepressant is going in to have that effect, you would think it would get diluted instantly to such a small ammount to have no affect.

If you search 'ford a portsmouth' you will find the abstract of the paper. The researchers have treated some inverts with a range of concentrations. I think the point is that many people are taking antidepressants and oral contraceptives that with thousands/millions of people urinate whilst on these drugs. Yes the sea can dilute things to a certain extent but there are limits, and toxins can build up in certain areas. The oil spill in mexico and the red sea is a massive problem because of this.
