CO2 timing?

What are your thoughts?

Assuming CO2 is not on 24x7, which I know some people do.

An hour before lights on? Two hours? Same deal before lights off?

thats what i do, 2hours before lights on, and off 1hour before lights out.

On 2 hours before lights on, and off 2 hours before lights off for me

It really depends on how efficient your method of diffusing is , the aim is to have 30 ppm by the time the lights come on, every tank is different mines coming on one hour before lights on and off 30 mins before lights off (i have quite a lot of surface movement so my tank out gasses the co2 really quickly)
