[Plant Nutter]

I\'m setting up a 30x15x15\" tank for Apisto\'s and Pencils. I have a Tetra Plants Complete planting medium topped with sand.

I am fitting 1 x T5 Lumilux® High Output 24watt daylight & 1 x T5 Lumilux® High Output 24watt cool white lamps.

I have a JBL Pro CO2 Setup, some nice glassware too.

Plant wise I will be doing a nice shop at Green Machine, nothing to hard, some nice stems, some of the new Tropica plants etc.

Can you suggest a ferts regime? if so what? and buy from where? sould i be using powders as I\'ve seen described?

This article has an example of dosing for a 20 (us) gallon tank. Your tank is 30 US gallons, so just multiply all quantities by 1.5.

If you don't want to go EI then i'd suggest TPN+ (Tropica Plant Nutrition Plus) I normally double what it says on the bottle. It's available from The Green Machine. If you'll be going there to get your plants then i'm sure they'll be more than happy to advise you over a cup of tea
