Hi all,i haven,t posted much of late, i was ill for 4 weeks over xmas and new year so never got out much,anyway i got the heads up from one of my toggin mates about a GOLDCREST being in the area near my home ,now if you guys have seen a JENNY WREN you will think its a small bird,well i can tell you its a giant compared to this little beauty,luckily for me it showed very well and i managed to get some shots of it hope you enjoy them,i must say this has to be my hardest bird to get so far,it just does not keep still,I also had to work hard with the crap light yesterday too.

Fantastic sharpness in most of these, particularly the first one! Can't be easy to catch such a fast moving and tiny bird, and with this level of detail. I'd never have the patience for bird photography.
