HI shyboy
What I find hard to understand is why would you want to plants from this relatively unknown retailer of aquatic plants.

When their are professional company's like Tropica producing superior quality plants who also actively promote this wonderful hobby why go elsewhere. Now I know many of you will say price but you really do pay for what you get!

Also let's look at the retailer aspect here to, why do so many ukaps members purchase plants and dry goods from again, retailers who do not promote this hobby, many comments are made about ways to save money on purchasing from non aquatic retailers when we all have access to a small handful of specialist stores in the UK who really go out of their way to support and stock goods related to planted and nature style aquariums.

Look no further than the sponsored section of ukaps and support the shops who support this forum and the hobby, shyboy you are looking to hard for aquatic plant retailers when they are right here on ukaps.

These quality shops need to be supported, the larger "sell it all" chain retailers do little or nothing and pick up plant and dry good sales. If a chain has it cheaper, ring your chosen specialist store and see if they can price match.... atleast give them the chance.

Very well said. Totally agree.
These ebay plant sets are good for general not aquascaping related people. They would usually be hardy species which would grow in any tank. Started with a set like this couple years ago myself ;)

The price match is a good idea, but you may not be looking at the whole story, or comparing apples with apples. :)

For example, I get a pot from Tropica I am 100% sure that the plants are healthy, with good root stock, ready to be placed on the tank and thrive. I get the same plant from other online retailer and I may just get cuttings, stuffed on a pot with some filterfloss. Sometimes even forum members plants are better than most retailers out there.

Do not just look at price, think why is it so cheap. :)
