What wood and what moss to make a fake Bonzia Tree

Hello

Please help

I need to know where I can get Vine Roots (think thats what they're called) from so that I can turn it upside down and add moss to the branches.

Do you think this is what they've done in the photos below?

What moss would you recomend?

Also what wood do you think I should use?

I think the Vine Roots really look like old trees but don't know where to buy it from, do you know where I could get it from?

I think Filipe who did the tank in the first link used an actual dead bonsai. Ask at garden centers if they have any dead ones out back. I would try something like Xmas moss and keep it tightly trimmed, or flame moss for a more sticky-up appearance.
