My new tank is slowly coming together and I'd love to share some photos of it on the Journals board.

I've had a very quick try at taking some pics but I'm having problems with reflections from the glass: in day light there's a reflection of the window oposite the tank, and at night the rest of the room gets reflected in the front of the tank.
It may be a different ball game when there's water in the tank and the lights are on, but are there any ways to get better pics?

It's a Nikon compact 7Mpix. The lens is 7.8 - 23.4mm / f2.8 - 4.9
It has the usual settings for sports, landscapes, portraits etc, so there is a little you can you do with exposures but, not much.
