HI all,

Just a quick question, if I have a tank with Anubias and Java fern using T8 tubes, do I need to run a c02 system with it?

Cheers

Okay, I was just wondering if I could sell it as I have now have these low light plants.

You can sell it :)

This tank has no co2 on it, just light and ferts.
Anubias, swords, crypts, ferns, couple of mosses and a gametephyte.
Anubias and crypts are dwarved as a result of the co2 limitation, but still healthy.
Growth is x10 slower than with pressurised co2 so patience is required :)

Cool,

So C02 is not essential then by the looks of it.

mmmm, maybe a JBL proflora c02 set appearing on the "for sale" forum soon then...

Definitely not essential.
I won't lie to you though, growing plants is a whole heap easier with some species with co2 than without.
But allt he ones I listed I find fairly easy without :)
