Do i dose from day 1?

Hi all,
Just a quickie, i'm setting up my first planted tank at the w'end. I am dosing EI as in Clives tutorial.
Just wondering do i dose straight away from day 1as soon as the tank is filled?? Didn't know if there had to be some settling time for the plants before dosing?

Hi Toadass

I always dose a new set up from day 1.
Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I want my plants to get off to the best start possible, e.g. no shortages.
The plants will have enough on their plate adapting to their new environment. The last thing you want to do is let them go hungry.
Never had any problems doing it this way
