spray bar hole size

i have bought some 16mm outside diameter 2mm wall thickness acrylic pipe to make a couple of spray bars for my new tank that i am setting up (167cm x 67cm x 40cm )to run of a ehiem pro3 2075 ( 1250 ltr per Hour)and an aquamanta efx400 (1400 ltr per hour ) what size hole's should i drill in the spray bar

I'd say start with 2 or 3 mm and work up from there.

How long are the bars

i have enough tube to make 2 spray bars and the tank is 5foot 6inch long, maybe two bars at 30 inch

I reckon an inch spacing should be ok. Start with 2mm hole size if the bars are going to be that long.

Start with an inch first, the smaller the hole the better the more powerful the spray.

Yes the more powerful the spray but it's creating more resistance if too small.
