simple EI mixing question

I have a simple question regarding the make up of an EI solution, what i would like to know is can i double the recommended levels per 500ml of water and dose half the 10ml per litre?
or in other words, rather than using 1tsp of specified fert per 500ml at a dosing level of 10ml per 50l i could use 2tsp per 500ml and dose 10ml per 100l?

Just be aware there are limits as to how much of each powder can be dissolved in a given amount of water, although 500ml is plenty if you want to just double the strength of your solution.
