All,

I'm making an electric toothbrush / metal head / rock cleaning tool.

Basically - got an electric toothbrush & removed the brushes from the head.

Then i've hacksawed off a chunk of a wire brush - so i have a wirebrush about the same size as an electric toothbrush head.

Now i just need to attach the wire brush to the electric head - to do this i am going to use superglue for this as it will provide a strong stick.

Is this safe for the tank water though? Once the glue is set it wont dissolve in the water during cleaning will it?

Tom

gel type cynocrylyte(sp) is fine, you can even use it directly in the tank under water :)

yep, one of the stronger glues out there :) works on all sorts too, wood, rubber, glass, plastic, moss and cv boots for mot's  etc
