Silver stop lever halfway up so flow will be much reduced....would be fast spin on the washing machine otherwise!!!

My belief of filtration and turnover per hour is changing.

I'm using far less filtration than the 10x rule, and i'm having far better results.

rather interesting video none the less.

Mark, funny you should mention that, when I ran my 5ft, I was originally using 2 fx5s totalling 4800 litrrs per hour, plant growth was good don't get me wrong. I then switched to a eheim 2080 and 2078 so half that rate, and plants seemed much thicker and glossier. I even then went to just the 2080 with a small powerhead then it just went like a jungle.
