What do you have growing on that emmersed bit of wood? Some type of moss?

just java moss and some hydrocotyle, amazon frogbit is floating there too

So does the EMmersed wood act like a wick and absorb there water from the tank allowing growth out of the water with no needs of spraying? If so how did u go about doing this? Sorry for the questions but ut looks very very cool.

i dont spray it at all, the moss just takes up water and keeps itself moist and helps the hydrocotyle by giving it a wet substrate

i gave the stems their first trim on Friday, everything's growing nice....

Got into the news paper today!

the tank's going okay, it had some trouble with thread algae because i didn't water change for a few weeks. i think it's mostly under control now...

the hydrocotyle grows so fast, after the last trim it's back thicker than ever:

also i added some glosso which is doing really well
