Hi all I just took a plant out of the pot it can in and wondered what I could do with it?
I turned the pot upside down and secured the ceramic weight which was in the pot to it with fishing line and a sewing needle now I'm going to put some moss in it and hopefully the moss will cover it, plus inside there is room for fish fry or baby shrimp to hide :)
Can you think of another use?

Good idea!
I wonder if anyone tried that before?
Let is know how you get on, post a picture weekly :)

nice idea. just one thing i find that fisidens comes loose easily. maybe a spikey moss or something would actually work better

I think I would suggest tying the moss to the outer side of the pot to allow for better growth. I can imagine it is particularly dark inside. Just s thought. Oh and it looks like a slice of pineapple :)

I've replaced the fissedens with java.
Yes I'm sure it would be a quicker way if you covered it with moss but I'd try the lazy way first :)
Love you're style ;)
