i ran a fluval edge for a while in full sunlight, major PITA, 24/7 co2 daily waterchange lots of trimming and glass cleaning, it can be done but to be honest its more effort than i wanted o put into a "relaxing hobby"

thanks mate, obviously im a bit more critically and think it looks a bit pants. Im going to trim the moss right back once that looks green it should make a masive difference.Looking nice mate!

I made the cabinet very badly but it does the trick. i had all the wood cut at b&q and had to get it back on my scooter! i sand on the lot and was about a foot above the seat the filter is an eheim professional 3 with built in heater. I actually cant remember the flow rate but have a feeling its about 1200?Did you make the cabinet and what eheim are you running?
