So I have been playing with a 60P for a few months. It's been through a few phases, but it's been good fun. I have another 60cm cube which is proving far trickier to scape.
I originally wanted this tank to be a single plant iwagumi, but due to the Hairgrass mysteriously dying back, I changed my mind.
The tank
I started playing with some ideas.
Then I finally decided on the hardscape...
Then she was planted...
After a while the Hairgrass started dying back. I think this was the best pic I managed to get.
So in frustration I ripped up the Hairgrass and decided on the same scape, but with different plants. So the replanting took place...
I used the following plants:
HC
Staurogyne repens
Crypt parva
Crypt pigmea
Dwarf Hairgrass
Rotala wallichii
Rotala macrandra green
This is what it looks like as of a few weeks ago.
I replaced the macrandra green with L. arcuata and I added some hydrocotyl tripartita.
Any constructive criticism would be most appreciated.
