ISTA Max Mix CO2 Reactor (Large)

Hi guys,
I was wondering if someone use or have already used this product ?

Professional Aquarium Products in details Max Mix CO2 Reactor (Large) - ISTA

I would like to switch from an up atomizer to this reactor for 70 G tank. ?
My atomizer is no longer sufficient and mist is not as finer as before. So i was looking for a better dissolution solution.

Have you tried cleaning your UP atomizer? You can use a brush or soak it in bleach and then dechlorinate it. This could fix the problem with the mist.

I don't think many people here have tried the ISTAs. TMC sell practically the same thing but I think there was a catch: even the large model only has 12/16 mm fittings not 16/22 as needed for large filters.

I havent tried it but do like the AM1000 and did consider one of these for a while which i saw good reviews on around the web, maybe worth a consideration if they will post that far?

Yes they supply the connecting parts for 16/22 tubing !
But I thing it will be easier and faster to build one like I live in Congo.
The one you linked above look really efficient !

I had one of those and they become really nosy after awhile. Better build a DIY one from a water filter filled with bio balls or a bit of coarse foam, I doubt you won't find the parts in your country (just google "diy water filter co2 reactor"), put two inline if you have a powerful filter and a larger tank.
