Newbie coming from marine set up.

Hey everybody. My names joe. Ive decided to give up my marines as my wife has ocd and freaks out every time i put my hand in my tank as i had poisonous things in. Ive decided to go tropical again and was thinking of a planted system. My tank is a juwel 5ft approx 500L. it has a drilled overflow at one end. Black background. theres room below for for a 3-4ft sump. Whats the best method to use for a planted aquarium. thanks guy.

Welcome to the forum, with a big tank & a sump you will require a very big Co2 cylinder to get enough gas dissolved Ito the water.
I would find out if you have a supplier close to hand who can refill the co2 cylinder at a reasonable cost before going to far!
