Nice, you have good eye for detail. I'll be keeping an eye.:)

nice hard scape  are those 17mm lily pipes ?

Thanks dean

Loving this scape! Impressed with how it looks now after the algae issue. Rocks are awsome with a bit of algae green on it. Isnt the light a bit much though? (Im no light expert)

Keep us updated!

Thanks Omegatron, yes the gda was caused by to much light
I had it about 5cm above the water surface in the beginning, now its around 40cm above

Amazing... How did you get rid of that GDA? Really frightening to see everything green

Jordi

Thanks Jordi, I did let the gda run its course for 3 weeks, that is why it looked so bad.
Spent a couple of hours cleaning everything up. It did return after the first decent clean up, but it started getting better and less.[DOUBLEPOST=1396505669][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thanks dean

Hi Dean, the filter does have 16mm piping but reduced it to 13mm lilly pipes for a little more flow

To date, around 3 months now. the wood gave off huge amounts of tannins but added Seachem Purigen...this tuff works great
