GH+ left the lid unscrewed

Any one dealt with this? It seems to have sucked up moisture from the air...... Its a new tub

So I stuck a new silica gel pack in to suck out as much moisture as I could and the top had gone rock solid. Smashed it and removed it. About 1cm down and the salt is fine so lost quite a lot but don't need a whole new pot

why don't you just put the solid stuff in as chunks. Like sugar cubes.
