Number of days to observe effects of a change

Hello,

how many days should one allow to see if a change made has negative/positive effects?

For example I have increased my light intensity from 40% to 50%....how many days should I wait before deciding to increase or decrease the light intensity or if I am happy just leave it....

I think about 1 week is a minimum. So you don't need to watch the aquarium like a hawk!

If plants are in good health then a week as stated.
If they are in poor health it could take longer.

I will recommend taking a photo before the change. It helps to record the before change effect and makes it easier to compare.
