Light choices

Sooo hello, i have at this time a Diversa aquarium and it has a nasty 8w cfl bulb mounted in hood, and i think its not givint a right amount of light to all plants so what should i do to improve light? change it into two maybe 8 w t5's, LED modules?

The CFL will definitely give you enough light to grow plants AND algae, especially if you aren't using pressurised CO2.

Cool, whether CFL, LED or T5, 1 lamp will be enough for you. I assume this is a small tank?
