Echinodorus Angustifolia

Give it a try........the one you have in reserve, will allmost certainly multiply fast and easy, by adventive plants (look like runners).
Or wait untill you have plenty - and then try the Excel pn some......
- it's really a nice plant, easy to grow and "breed" :)

Im excited to have something fresh its such an interesting species.

Just an update The plants did partially melt down on replanting in my tank with liquid co2/Glutaraldehyde.
I have two new shoots that are growing quite fast see the poor shot ; so it appears they will do well in these conditions.

Nice..........
From the look of it (=curly leaves) , you have a variety of the species, called 'Vesuvius'.........the true species have un-curled leaves.
The 'Vesuvius' is as virile and easy as the species, though.
It has a tendency to not bend down its runners, so you may need to gently push them to the substrate/gravel, to let them grow in.
