thnx, that lamp is here because the light period is for now only 5 hours, and that lamp is 13W so I can look the aquarium more then this 5 hours :D
that kind of lamps many friends use in aquarium all the time and there is no problem. ;)

Hi all,
The T5 undercabinet lights are rated "IP22", so the tubes, and any holes in the fitting really need to be siliconed in. The link light cable to the mains isn't very secure either.

I used them (following water-proofing) as propagation lights, but the plastic photodegraded really quickly.

cheers Darrel

Edvet - I know what u meen and it is not great solution... I will remove it soon. ;)
dw1305 - I head 4 years 2x35W t5 bulbs without water proof cap/holder and some manufacturers have non water proof lighting and conections. It is not safe and wise, just saying!
few days ago that 13W fall into aquarium, my hands was out so luckily nothing happened, but I wondered!!!
aquarists do crazy things, but should always be cautious.

zgmarkozg, I'm going to repeat myself again and say fantastic tank and that one day i will be able to create something as truly wonderful as your scape.
