Anyone got any pressure readings for these or is there an easy way, from reading the high pressure dial, of telling when its about to run out ?

Not sure if the lowering of the high pressure dial is linear when its being used.

Whats best way of knowing when its just about to run out ?

the pressure will stay the same until the liquid co2 is gone then the pressure will drop quite quickly after that and will need changing SOON

you can weigh it when its full and then you can tell how much is left by weighing it again.
depending how much co2 you use, you should have a couple of days left as the high pressure gauge starts to drop.

Weigh it. My 2Kg FE weights 5.38Kg with regulator attached when full. When it gets near 3.38Kg it is running out.

Also you should weigh it before fitting the regulator, with the horn attached, the correct weight with 2Kg CO2 is on the side. This is just in case there is less than 2Kg CO2.

CO2 just happens to weigh 1Kg per Litre.

Only way of knowing how much CO2 is inside cylinder is cylinder weight or checks with ultrasonic liquid level indicator.
