After some suggestions for mosses for two parts of my tank.

I want some to fix to some wood and then some more that will grow on rock.

The tank will have co2 and a TMC Mini 400.

I'm after something that will be fairly easy to grow and also not too high in its maintenance requirements.

I'm familiar with the idea of using fishing line for fixing it to the wood, but what about the rock?

Hi,

Well IMO the most mosses are really easy to grow... And the differences are the growth speed and the form, which you are pursuing. So almost any Fissidens, Vesicularia, Riccardia, Ricia... the list goes on... it just needs to be aquatic... will go.
Do you have something in mind?
Cheers, Daniel

I quite like Fissidens so was thinking of trying this on the wood.
I have some Riccia already which is growing but varies between floating and my attempts to trap it under something! I just wasn't sure how to mount it to the large rock.

I've tried 3 or 4 different ones and I've always found Fissidens the easiest / most successful and the nicest looking.
